Commercial and residential,
any type of roof system.

A roof's drainage system includes gutters, leaders, drain openings and scuppers, also the slope provided by the roof, tapered insulation, crickets and sumps. The main function of a drainage system is to prevent the retaining of water on the roof by draining it as rapid as possible. All roofs, including "dead-level" roofs, must have some endowment for drainage. It is important that the drainage system be kept free from debris that might interfere with the proper flow of surface water.

History

Oakland is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 12,466. Oakland was incorporated as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 8, 1902, from portions of Franklin Township. On June 5, 1695 Arent Schuyler, representing a group of Dutch associates, paid the equivalent of 250 New York Pounds in wampum and things to the Sachems of the Pompton and Minsi Indians for the land. The Minsi enjoyed these fertile valleys, hunted in the woods and fished in the Ramapaugh or river of many round ponds. Therefore the Dutch called their settlement "De Panne" or the "The Ponds".
